At the root of it, I'm a designer and a problem solver, and everything else grows out of that. I get excited about connecting data, people, and problems with design thinking in ways that unlock unexpected innovation, and I strive to be the glue that helps cool things happen with cool people.
I move easily between the executive room and the gritty IC work, and I do both well. Sometimes that's aligning engineering, product, and go-to-market teams around a shared roadmap. Other times it's sitting inside a Figma file at midnight getting a component to behave. Recently that's meant AI-prototyping a new pricing tool from the ground up, and modernizing a design system to support an expanded brand, get it AI-ready, and auto-convert into a usable library developers actually want to build with. At SafetyChain, I built and led a product design and research organization and launched a Product Strategy Pod to align teams around customer needs and business goals. At Plex, I worked as the sole UX expert on a net-new Industrial IoT application that helped lead to a $2.2B acquisition.
